Health Tip: Tomato
In a series of blogs Shobana has decided to provide great health tips...stay tuned.
Tomato:
1.The red pigment of tomato(lycopene) is a very good antioxidant to fight against cancer.
2.It helps to dissolve gallstones.
3.Nicotinic acid present in tomatoes helps to reduce blood cholesterol and thus prevents various heart problems
4.Its a good blood purifier,daily consumption helps in improving skin texture and color.
Cooking Tips:1.Be sure to pick the bright shades of red color tomatoes which indicates high amount of betacarotene and lycopene.
2.If you cook the tomatoes with a little bit of oil, it releases good amount of lycopene from it. It's better to use olive oil instead of other which allows your body to absorb the lycopene better.
3.If you feel your tomato is too acidic ,then sprinkle a pinch of sugar and salt which will bring out the flavor
4.A good serrated knife is better for cutting tomatoes..if you use flat edged knife,be sure that the edges are sharp
5. Don't use Aluminium utensils for cooking tomatoes as the acid present in it reacts with Aluminium resulting in bitter taste and fades the color too

The Truth: AT&T Coverage and Verizon's Misrepresentation
I am very unhappy with the way Verizon is misrepresenting information to boost up its sales, trapping customers on to a network that is not upgradable or will not be upgraded in the near future.
Where as AT&T continues win all the benchmarks and is working towards building a better an faster wireless infrastructure.
