The Truth: AT&T Coverage and Verizon's Misrepresentation

I am very unhappy with the way Verizon is misrepresenting information to boost up its sales, trapping customers on to a network that is not upgradable or will not be upgraded in the near future.

Where as AT&T continues win all the benchmarks and is working towards building a better an faster wireless infrastructure.

Koundamani Vettaikaran Remix

Noting can get better than this Vettaikaran Remix...Honestly they should consider letting Koundamani dance for this song in the movie :)

2012 sucks! or at least the idea...

I am sure people will disagree with me....but I better be honest and true to myself...I felt very strongly about this movie that forced me write this blog...

2012_movie_poster2a.jpg

What was the least did I expect when I stood in the moderately long queue for the 10:20 PM show at AMC 1000 Van ness....I knew as usual there was going to be few destruction show off's, some sort of animated cast of apocalypse coming etc., etc.,

Agreed. Great graphics, awe inspiring illustrations of the impossible and what not....but stop and take a careful second look! Where are we going with these ideas?

Should we be enjoying and encouraging all these ideas that push the fear of dooms day to the edge? Bull crap... After Independence day, The Day after tomorrow, The Day Earth Stood Still, and many others, 2012 is just another sick idea...why? because people love these ideas of civilizations getting wiped off, 100 floor buildings falling down, Millions of people dying at the same time? Poor White House, for its the default victim!

The media industry again fails to be responsible and tries to make money out by injecting fear sugar coated with thrill, when it can spread some positive magic on the people and hope to their ideas in this tough time of economic crisis.

Windows 7 under the hood

I have tried the Gold Master...must say it fast and reliable compared to Vista (for which I renounced Windows on personal computing and went to Mac for ever :))

But seems like Microsoft still hasn't fixed the issues as they should have, there are still loose ends and more potential pitfalls created in Windows 7! Fault Tolerant Heap (FTH) doesn't sound like a logical thing to do. Artificially preventing program crashes when they access a freed memory location...won't it affect correctness at some point? yuk

Can't deny Windows 7 is a stable and reliable desktop platform...can't wait for Windows 2008
